About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Junior School and through to the Principal, you will:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated programs across all Key Learning Areas.
- Support students with diverse gifts, talents, and learning needs, collaborating with the Academic Support Department.
- Integrate information technology into teaching to enrich learning experiences.
- Create a safe, supportive, and challenging classroom environment where excellence is valued.
- Apply effective assessment and reporting practices, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Contribute to pastoral care, promoting respect, dignity, and self-discipline.
- Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum planning, team teaching, and career development.
- Participate in school activities, co-curricular programs, and whole-school events.
About You
You are an enthusiastic and professional teacher who brings:
- A recognised teaching qualification with accreditation to teach in primary (K–6).
- A Master of Teaching qualification is preferred for this position.
- Experience in delivering high-quality, innovative teaching practices.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of primary teaching experience is required.
- A strong commitment to student wellbeing and holistic education.
- Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A collaborative and reflective approach to teaching and learning.
- A commitment to Catholic education and the Loreto tradition.
