We are currently seeking an organised, hands‑on, and experienced Handyperson to join our Facilities team.

About the Role
Working within a small, supportive team, the Handyperson will contribute to the maintenance & upkeep of Scenic World’s grounds, buildings, structures, services & additional properties. No two days are the same, you’ll move between maintenance tasks, repairs, project support & onsite coordination.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out maintenance, repairs & servicing of Scenic World’s buildings, structures, boardwalks & facilities, as well as associated local properties (including buildings, grounds, carparks, workshops & offsite locations)
* Manage assigned preventative & reactive maintenance tasks, monitoring progress & priorities through the Facilities Maintenance Management System
* Assist with the movement of equipment across the site
* Work collaboratively with external contractors, trades & service providers when required
* Support the Facilities Manager & Support Services Team Leader with projects, upgrades & changes to site infrastructure, buildings & equipment
* Assist on occasion with mechanical installations or ride maintenance
* Coordinate works internally with the Operations Department & other stakeholders
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
* Qualifications and/or experience in a building trade, or strong general building/handyperson skills
* Demonstrated experience in facilities, maintenance or general repairs
* The ability to work independently or within a team, using strong initiative & organisational skills
* Solid problem‑solving capability, particularly with complex or varied tasks
* Excellent attention to detail
* Strong communication skills
* A Class C driver’s licence & ability to drive a manual
