About the Role
As a Senior Infrastructure Analyst, you'll join a dynamic IT infrastructure team at the forefront of delivering cutting‐edge solutions and services. You will oversee various technologies, including physical and virtual servers and cloud services, to ensure smooth operations. As a 3rd line specialist, you'll tackle complex challenges and collaborate with top‐tier vendors. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‐paced environment and loves making a tangible impact on strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
* Maintain up‐to‐date knowledge of best practices in IT architecture, software solutions and systems relevant to the banking industry.
* Support and administer the Beyond Bank corporate network and systems managed by key suppliers.
* Provide localised support and maintain computer and network security.
* Identify and suggest improvements for gaps in existing IT processes.
* Administer and develop BBA's Azure tenancy, including security groups, governance structures and infrastructure components.
* Configure and manage Microsoft 365, Active Directory, group policy, Windows OS, VMware and hardware monitoring.
* Administer VDI and desktop environments and work with internal security teams to identify and apply critical security patches.
* Provide high‐level support for network infrastructure and ensure systems function correctly, contributing to continuous improvement and service excellence.
Qualifications
* At least five years of experience in a similar role with relevant IT infrastructure qualifications.
* Expertise in Microsoft Azure administration, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, VDI desktop environments and Cisco networking.
* Proven ability to support a regulated 24/7 business environment.
* Exceptional customer service attitude with strong analytical and problem‐solving skills.
* High‐level written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
