**The Company**
My client is a D&C head contractor who have retained key clients through professional management and successful delivery of projects. With an internal design team, they deliver authentic and quality commercial fitouts, creating spaces that foster collaboration and enhance productivity. With 28 years of experience in the industry, they are a leading company specialising in workplace strategy, design, and construction.
The business assists landlords in repositioning properties and spaces through refurbishments, upgrades, and speculative fitouts. Centrally located in the heart of Sydney's
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Providing project coordination support to the Project Manager
- Short term programming of projects and tracking project schedules
- Dealing with project design issues and changes
- Liaising and advising subcontractors on design and contractual issues
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Contracts administrative duties and general administrative support
- Preparation of subcontractor packages, scope of works and procurement schedules
- Tender letting and evaluation
- Document control
**About you**:
- 2+ years' experience in a D&C company working on commercial fitouts
- Industry tertiary qualification in Building, Construction, Engineering, or Project Management
- A can-do attitude
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with subcontractors
- Sound knowledge of Building Code of Australia and Australian Standards
- The ability to write a detailed scope of works
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- The ability to multitask, problem-solve and cross manage multiple projects at a time
- You hold a strong understanding of all aspects of the project life cycle
- Experience with Breadcrumbs, Jobpac or Procore is desirable.
