About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Transport Allocator to join a team of 3. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of Sydney metropolitan logistics, NHVR, a sharp eye for detail, and solid organisational skills.
Key areas of focus for the role includes:
* Monitor and manage fleet movement throughout the metro area
* Coordinate logistics and assist with scheduling and route planning
* Support compliance with fatigue management and driving hour regulations
* Ensure vehicles are operating within weight and mass management limits
* Communicate with drivers and stakeholders to ensure smooth daily operations
The Successful Applicant will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
* Strong knowledge of the city metro area
* Excel proficiency and general computer literacy
* Understanding of fatigue management and driver hour compliance
* Knowledge of truck weights, loading procedures, and mass management
* Rail experience is a plus, but not essential
* Good communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
