What You'll Be Doing
The vision for South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) is 'exceptional care, healthier lives'. SESLHD is committed to enabling our community to be healthy and well, and to providing the best possible compassionate care when people need it.
* Provide receptionist and administrative support to the staff, patients and visitors of the Adult Outpatient Department
* Process referrals and make Outpatient appointments in eMR scheduling
* Register patients when attending Outpatient appointments
* Ensure patient information is accurate and up to date on the hospital information systems (iPM, MRTS etc).
* Answer telephone and general enquiries promptly and politely
* Ensure Medicare billing for eligible patients attending a billable clinic.

* Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction across a diverse clientele
* High level interpersonal, written and verbal commmunication skills with demonstrated computer literacy and the ability to respond to a range of enquiries to determine the appropriate response in a complex work environment
* Effective time amangement skills with the ability to perform a wide range of adminstrative tasks, demosntrating initiative to think on our feet and problem solve in a demanding work environment
