WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
About the Team
Our C4i (CISRS) Engineering team consists of a combination of Software Developers and Systems Engineers, operating out of our Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence (MILVEHCOE) in Redbank, Queensland. This cross-functional team operates as a key stakeholder for all variants of the Boxer platform in relation to LAND 400 Ph2.
About the Role
As the Senior Systems Engineer within the CISRS team, you will work closely with Systems Engineering Lead to help derive customer requirements and allocating work packages for the Software Developers to design and integrate. You could expect some of your daily duties to include:
* Developing and maintaining assigned Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) items, including the Systems Engineering Management Plan and System and Sub-system Specifications;
* Coordinate the development of material in relation to Mandated System Reviews such as Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Detailed Design Review (DDR), etc.;
* Conduct maturation exercises of existing planning data related to Systems Engineering scope, including basis of estimates, work breakdown structure and schedule;
* Ensure Systems Engineering related risks and dependencies are identified and actively mitigated; and
* Support mentoring and development of the Systems Engineering team.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:
* Tertiary qualification in a relevant Engineering field i.e. Mechanical, Electrical, etc.;
* Previous experience in a Systems Engineering role, preferably within the Defence industry;
* Knowledge of Systems Engineering Standards (EIA-632 or ISO/IEC 15288);
* Exceptional stakeholder management skills; and
* Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
