We're currently seeking a Field Service & Installation Photocopier Technician to join our Geelong team. If you're technically skilled, customer-focused and ready to work with industry-leading products in a dynamic environment, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role:
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Copier technician to support our expanding client base. You'll be responsible for the installation, networking, servicing and repair of Canon and HP multifunction devices and related digital equipment.
This is a field-based role with a mix of on-site and workshop responsibilities, offering variety and autonomy in your day-to-day work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Repair and service of managed devices in the field
* Install and network devices (TCP/IP) at customer premises
* Configure scan-to-email/folder and print drivers (PC & Mac)
* Collaborate with client IT teams and work on server environments
* Integrate cloud-based device software solutions
* Demonstrate device features to clients
* Perform preventative and corrective maintenance
* Refurbish used equipment for resale
* Provide remote support and troubleshooting
* Assist with stock and equipment logistics
Ideal Candidate
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the office equipment industry is required
We're looking for someone who brings:
* Photocopier Experience in the office equipment industry (Canon experience highly regarded)
* Strong IT knowledge (Cert III or IV preferred)
* Confidence engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* A proactive, customer-first approach
* Strong time management and communication skills
* Understanding of print architecture and business systems
* Current Australian working rights
* A valid Australian Driver's Licence with a clean record
