Spanlift is a well-established manufacturing company with facilities in the Adelaide and Mt Gambier regions. With the increasing demand for our products, we have a strong, stable work schedule. We have a position in our Lonsdale facility (Adelaide) for a welder who will also be a workshop supervisor. This supervisor works closely with our operations team, which is in a separate location. Join our daily production huddles. Communicate via email and phone. Check production schedule and advise progress. Customers are won, and time lines are met by bringing an attitude of 'how can I help'
Responsibilities
 * Lead the workshop team and supervise welding operations at the Lonsdale facility
 * Collaborate with the operations team and align on production schedules
 * Participate in daily production huddles and communicate progress via email and phone
 * Plan work, find efficiencies, manage stock, and ensure production runs smoothly
 * Contribute hands-on while coordinating the work with the team
 * Maintain a proactive attitude to meet customer deadlines
Qualifications
 * Past experience supervising
 * Basic computer skills
 * Ability to read drawings and check products
 * Past welding experience (tickets/qualifications not essential)
 * Good work ethic
 * Forklift license is beneficial but not required
