Good underground sparkies are hard to find. If you know your way around retic, breakdowns and keeping gear running underground, this could be the roster you have been looking for.
We are recruiting experienced Underground Electrician for 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off roster in the Goldfields working on a busy underground mining operation spread across various mine sites for several of our "Blue-Chip" clients in Kalgoorlie and Kambalda.

What the job involves
You will be responsible for keeping underground electrical infrastructure and equipment running safely and efficiently including:
* Fault finding and maintenance on 1000V and 415V underground reticulation
* Work on substations, switchboards, RMUs, motors, VSDs, lighting, ventilation and dewatering systems
* Breakdown and planned maintenance on production drills, raise bore rigs, loaders and underground mining equipment
* Installing and maintaining RCT tele remote systems
* HV and LV switching, RCD testing and compliance checks
* Reading/understanding schematic drawing
* Strong attention to detail with exceptional fault-finding capabilities (Loss time results to loss in production)
What you need
* Underground mining experience as an electrician (Preferred but not essential)
* WA Unrestricted "A-Grade Electrical Licence (Mandatory)
* HV Switching Ticket (Highly regarded)
* Certificate III in Electrotechnology
* PLC experience (Preferred but not essential)
* Current manual "C" Class driver licence
* Current LVR CPR and First Aid certificate
* Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
* National Police Clearance (Current within the past 6-months)
