Agile product owner - fraud technology

We are looking for a passionate Fraud Tech Product Owner to be part of the Fraud Technology & Detection Analytics team.

As the Product Owner of Fraud Tech you will wear different hats to define, lead and support the roadmap and delivery of product capabilities required to optimise Macquarie's Fraud Tech landscape. This role will be well suited to someone who is interested to explore and work in a energetic space across Technology, Risk and Fraud.
- Shape and define the Fraud strategic roadmap across Tech and Detection Analytics - building and improving the tooling that can help detect and prevent fraud
- Supplier/Vendor Management - Ensure Fraud Tech partners are well managed across the lifecycle from due diligence, onboarding, service provision, commercial execution, assessments, ongoing governance rhythms and exit.
- Support and lead a high performing team for Business and Tech initiatives across Fraud - including new tech implementation and upgrades.

This role reports into the Head of Fraud Technology & Detection Strategy and is part of the Tech Security & Fraud - Technology Division. You will be working closely with partnering teams across Fraud Tech, Fraud Analytics, Operations, Incident Response, Digital, Technology/DevOps, Procurement & Vendor Management and Risk.

**In this role you will be responsible for**:

- Working with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into a product strategies, and to help drive consensus among those stakeholders.
- Prioritizing and maintaining vendor management and product roadmap
- Lead and collaborate with the Fraud Tech team - Scrum Master, Engineers and Business Analysts
- Partner with Fraud stakeholders in Detection Analytics, Risk & Governance, Cards/Payments, Digital and Tech product owners on various initiatives
- Provide coaching to individuals and team to ensure consistency of delivery processes, incident management and drive an uplift in capabilities
- Support financial forecasts, Risk & Control assessments, Vendor Management & associated governance activities
- Support the Fraud team in co-ordinating and communicate incident management
- Own the relationship with our Fraud Tech Partners - including onboarding, due diligence and facilitating monthly & quarterly oversight/governance
- Owning and developing risk, issue and control items - ability to proactively identify risks and issues, defining appropriate controls and action plans.

***You will be engaging directly with senior stakeholders including business and technology Product Owners and Heads of departments.

***What you'll bring to the role**:

- At least 5 years in Banking & Finance or Payments Industry
- Experience and understanding of Fraud and/or Credit Risk area across strategy, technology and/or operations
- Experience with Vendor relationships, management & governance, including understanding of procurement and commercial agreement frameworks
- Understanding and involvement on Technology and Project methodologies, in an agile environment
- A structured approach to problem solving and ability to critically assess and identify root cause of issues and to design viable solutions.
- Strong level of commercial/business acumen, with strong focus on business improvement and operational efficiencies; including a proven ability to lead projects to improve financial performance
- Ability to work independently and operate with a high sense of urgency
- Ability to adapt with to constantly changing fraud and tech landscape and focus resources on the right priorities
- Ability to maintain high standards of accuracy and work under pressure to achieve deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and coordinate cross-functional work teams
- Strong multi-level stakeholder and relationship management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including influencing and presentation.
