We are currently recruiting for a Regional Branch Manager to join our team in Tamworth NSW. This is a diverse role and you will be responsible for building our customer base and managing the site. This role offers career progression, training and development, and opportunities to progress.
The successful candidate will have significant previous experience in the transport industry, demonstrate impeccable interpersonal and Customer Service skills, be naturally organised, familiar with logistics and be highly computer literate.
To be successful you will have at least 5 years' experience in a similar role. As a Branch Manager you will be responsible for:
* Developing business within the Tamworth area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network
* Maintain good market and industry knowledge - technologies, standards and the competitive environment
* Identifying & implementing changes in the transport function to raise standards of performance
* Excellent skills in balancing the branch resources and capabilities to achieve the delivery of established priorities, budgets and plans
* Hiring new drivers and staff
* Strong knowledge in safety requirements to ensure a safe work place for all employees & driving a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with all legislative requirements
* Knowledge of DG code and MHF management is desirable
Essential Qualities:
* Experience in Transport, Freight, Logistics (minimum 5 years)
* Excellent Customer Service skills with previous experience
* Ability to develop relationships and build rapport with team members and client representatives
* Ability to multi task and adapt in a fast-paced environment
* Attention to detail, highly organised and goal oriented
* Must have a current and valid Forklift licence(essential)
