Barwon Water is Victoria's largest regional urban water corporation and investment is ongoing to provide our region with access to safe and secure water services well into the future. In this newly designed, exciting role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to monitor, analyze, and enhance the performance and management of our water and sewer network systems and assets. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying areas for improvement, implementing effective strategies, and overseeing the successful execution of projects that drive operational excellence.
Partnering closely with external specialists, you will bring a level of commerciality to this role, seeking to create additional value to performance. You will have the opportunity to influence both short-term solutions and long-term strategies, shaping the future of our utility services.
This is a key leadership role, supporting a small but growing team, and will utilise your excellence in engineering principles to engage effectively and build a culture of performance and improvement, providing timely reporting to senior leaders.
About YouAn intuitive and strategic thinker you are capable of operating independently and with a high degree of autonomy. You enjoy working with a broad range of stakeholders and possess a strong working knowledge of water and sewer network operations and infrastructure.
An excellent planner, you will succeed given the autonomy to influence and implement processes that will lead to identifying improvements that bring value to our customers. Thriving in an environment with diverse stakeholders, your ability to communicate technical information and shared objectives will be highly regarded, as you bring influence across Barwon Water.
Your qualifications in engineering will be put to the test but you will work in a close knit and multi-disciplined team, who will support your continuing development and seek to empower your decision making.
