**The Position**
Position Title: Allied Health Assistant - Casual
Classification: TC1 - TC2
Salary per hour (exc. super): $29.24 - $30.74

**Role Description**
Allied Health Assistants provide a support role to allied health staff at Bendigo Health. The casual Allied Health Assistant may work in a variety of programs and with varied disciplines depending on the need within the physiotherapy and exercise physiology department.
The role of the casual Allied Health Assistant includes, but is not limited to:
- Providing individual or group therapeutic interventions
- Monitoring clients to ensure they follow their program as prescribed by an allied health professional
- Facilitating patient handling and movement

**The Team**
The Clinical Operations Division encompasses acute, allied health, cancer and mental health services. We provide a wide range of general medical, surgical and specialty services including but not limited to; Oncology, Cardiology, Renal, Emergency, Women's and Children's, Critical Care, Specialist Clinics, Cancer Clinics and Mental Health Services. Our Allied Health teams provide a diverse range of programs and person centred care in inpatient, outpatient, community, home and residential care settings.
