Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing individual who enjoys interacting with people from around the world. In this role, you will engage with visitors, sell & recommend experiences, and convert those interactions into bookings through the Experience Oz platform. You'll be part of a high-energy sales environment where strong product knowledge, confidence in engaging customers, and a positive attitude will help you succeed.
Key Responsibilities
* Engage visitors within the Melbourne Visitor Hub and Experience Oz sales booths.
* Recommend and sell experiences, tours, and activities using the Experience Oz booking platform.
* Develop strong knowledge of experiences, tours, and attractions across Melbourne and Australia.
* Work toward individual and team sales targets.
* Contribute to daily and weekly sales goals.
* Support sales campaigns, promotions, and merchandising initiatives.
* Process bookings accurately through the Experience Oz platform.
* Maintain a clean and professional booth presentation.
* Work collaboratively with other sales consultants and the Melbourne Visitor Hub Manager.
* Support a team of 12 casuals with rostering, training and mentoring.
Qualifications
* Retail or tourism sales background.
* Outgoing and confident communicator with people from different backgrounds.
* Comfortable working in a sales-focused environment.
* Interest in tourism, travel, and experiences.
* Reliable and flexible availability, including weekends and peak tourism periods.
* Experience leading casuals in a sales environment.
