About The Role
As our business grows and evolves, we're seeking an experienced Senior Claims Officer with strong strata property claims expertise to play a pivotal role within our Claims team.
In this hands-on position, you'll manage your own portfolio of complex claims while also helping shape and improve claims processes. You'll act as a technical expert, providing guidance, advice, and support to Claims Officers and contributing to a best-in-class claims experience.
What You'll Do
* Manage a portfolio of Vero Specialty Lines claims from start to end
* Provide expert advice on complex claims as a subject matter expert
* Design and document claims processes to drive efficiency and quality outcomes
* Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Mentor, train, and support the development of Claims Officers
* Support onboarding of new team members
What You'll Bring
* Minimum 5 years' experience managing property claims (with exposure to strata)
* Experience mentoring or training others (highly regarded)
* Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving capability
* Clear, confident communication and negotiation skills
