About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government Agency to engage an APS6 Site & Logistics Coordinator. This position is located in their busy Kingston office for an initial 6‑month contract, with possible extensions.
About the Position The APS6 Site & Logistics Coordinator will support the planning, development and administration of logistics, operational planning, and site establishment activities across major infrastructure projects. The role works in a dynamic, multi‑disciplinary environment and requires strong coordination skills, adaptability, and the ability to meet tight timeframes.
Duties
* Support the planning, design and construction phases by coordinating integrated logistics and site establishment requirements.
* Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver operational, logistical and site readiness components of project activities.
* Develop and support logistics management plans, schedules and operational documentation.
* Contribute to the development of environmental and site management plans for complex and remote projects.
* Assist with project reporting, operations documentation and general project management support.
* Support risk management, WHS processes and field activity planning
Requirements/Skills
* Experience in logistics or operational management, including movement of people, materials and equipment.
* Demonstrated experience in site establishment for complex or remote construction projects.
* Ability to consider environmental factors, construction sequencing, off‑site fabrication and risk profiles.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and senior stakeholders.
* Proven ability to work independently and within small, high‑performing teams.
* Adaptability, resilience and strong organisational skills.
* Must be an Australian Citizen
