Customer Service Professional
You will be joining a dynamic Administration team and be responsible for providing a comprehensive customer-focused service to all aspects of the Hospital Front Office.
The ideal candidate will effectively undertake administrative duties that include, but are not limited to, customer enquiries, switchboard operation, bookings, filing, notation of bed moves, health fund checks, admitting and discharging patients as appropriate and reporting outcomes or needs to the Manager of the relevant department or direct line manager/supervisor.
Providing a high level of customer service to all staff, patients, and families, you will be committed to maintaining effective interpersonal relationships and work in harmony with a collaborative and constructive team environment.
To succeed in this role, you will bring a professional administrative skillset and ideally experience within the Health Industry. You will contribute to a positive, supportive, and forward-thinking team environment with a tight attention to detail. Your capability to effectively communicate and manage your time throughout the workday is critical to this role.
The flexibility to work a rotating roster, weekend, and public holiday availability is essential. Reception hours are 5:30am-10:00pm. The ideal candidate will also possess:
* A positive and welcoming customer service skillset
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing team
* Experience with patient management systems (Meditech) highly regarded
* Strong computer skills with a clear understanding of the MS Office suite
* Any relevant administrative qualifications highly regarded
* Demonstrated experience working within a Medical setting
