Role DescriptionThe Senior Manager Data Strategy role is a full-time, on-site position based in Alice Springs, NT. This role is responsible for leading the organization’s data strategy to inform decision-making and improve health outcomes. Key responsibilities include developing data governance frameworks, managing data analytics tools, ensuring data quality and security, and using insights to support program and policy development. The role also involves mentoring and guiding a data team, collaborating with stakeholders, and contributing to organisational reports and evaluations.
QualificationsProficiency in data analysis, data governance, and the use of analytics tools.Strong skills in project management, problem-solving, and strategic planning.Knowledge of health systems, health data management, and health communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.Experience in team leadership, mentoring, and fostering professional development.An understanding of and commitment to the principles of Aboriginal community-controlled healthcare.A degree in data science, public health, information technology, or a related field.Prior experience in a data management or data strategy role in healthcare or a similar sector is highly desirable.
