About The Role
As a S&S Banking Consultant, you will support customers through Face‑to‑Face interaction and inbound/outbound calls with everyday banking enquiries, account openings, and related processes, balancing team, customer, risk, and performance outcomes.
Role Location: Shop 3 Ipswich Riverlink Shopping Centre, Cnr Downs Road and Terrace Street, Ipswich, QLD, 4305
Role Type: Permanent, Flexible Part‑time (20hrs/week)
Responsibilities
* Deliver customer‑obsessed service that drives satisfaction and first‑call resolution.
* Provide timely and accurate information on everyday banking enquiries, account openings and processing via telephone and/or online channels.
* Listen, build trust and ask the right questions to exceed customers' expectations and improve outcome, resulting in strong NPS outcomes.
* Contribute to a team culture that balances people, customer, risk, and performance.
* Ensure compliance with all internal policies, procedures and external requirements, including privacy legislation and FSRA, as well as underwriting guidelines.
Qualifications
* Exceptional customer focus – retail experience is an advantage.
* Experience as a user and promoter of technology – knowledge of digital channels is an advantage.
* Ability to multi‑task, adapt to change and ambiguity.
* Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Sound understanding of compliance.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
