About the Role
We are seeking an experienced property professional to join our team in Launceston, TAS. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing a small portfolio of residential properties and ensuring the highest standards of service for valued clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Effectively manage the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of rental properties, including processing applications, coordinating inspections, and overseeing maintenance and repairs;
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with property owners, tenants, and tradespeople;
* Ensure all properties are compliant with relevant legislation and regulations;
* Conduct regular property inspections and provide comprehensive condition reports;
* Assist with marketing and leasing of vacant properties (we have letting consultants who attend inspections);
* Effectively resolve any tenant disputes or issues that may arise;
* Maintain detailed and accurate records of all property-related activities.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a property management or real estate role, ideally within the residential sector;
* Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders;
* A thorough understanding of relevant property legislation and regulations;
* Proficiency in using property management software and other relevant technology;
* A proactive, customer-focused approach and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
