Craft Supervisor Role Overview
The Craft Supervisor - Cranes and Rigging position is a key role within the Pluto Train 2 project, responsible for leading a team and supervising superintendents and/or craft professionals.
As a Craft Supervisor, you will be responsible for directing craft professional activities and work schedules, coordinating subcontract work activities and team development, and ensuring that craft professionals have the tools required to be productive.
This is a FIFO role working 3:1 roster, based in Karratha, WA. You will work closely with construction field engineers, leading hands, and craft professionals to interpret engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervises and directs craft activities as assigned.
* Schedules work to be performed and reviews work accomplished by each craft.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A bachelor's degree or international equivalent and 8-10 years of relevant experience.
* Bechtel Certified Rigging Engineer (CRE) certification preferred.
* Sound knowledge and experience in RT, all terrain and crawler cranes.
* Advanced technical knowledge and experience in engineering in the use of lifting equipment, alternative heavy lifting systems, mobile gantries, jacking, tailing, rigging equipment, and load distribution systems.
