Quality Improvement Coordinator
This is a fantastic opportunity to drive meaningful change and contribute to the success of our health service. As a Quality Improvement Coordinator, you will play a key role in leading the development, integration, and ongoing evaluation of quality improvement systems across clinical and organisational programs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical skillset and experience interpreting data to inform practice. You will be able to educate staff and lead cultural change through evidence-based practice, with a demonstrated understanding of Aboriginal health issues and culturally safe care.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinating and conducting clinical and organisational audits
* Supporting accreditation processes (RACGP, ISO, NDIS)
* Developing audit schedules, reports, and quality dashboards
* Embedding CQI into strategic and operational planning
* Educating and training staff on quality standards and processes
* Facilitating use of data (e.g. KPIs, NTAHKPIs, Traffic Light reports) to drive improvements
* Ensuring compliance and safety standards are met across the service
* Providing culturally safe feedback mechanisms to clients and community
Requirements:
* Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) or eligibility to register
* Graduate Diploma in a clinical or relevant field
* Unrestricted manual driver's licence, First Aid Certificate, and necessary clearances to work with vulnerable people
* Proven success in clinical governance, quality systems, or CQI in a healthcare setting
* Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting data to inform practice
