Barossa Aboriginal Future Fund Governance & Program Coordinator
Summary
This role involves coordinating the executive administration of the Barossa Aboriginal Future Fund (BAFF) in the Northern Territory, ensuring governance and functioning requirements are met and maintaining organisational standards.
You will work closely with the NT community team to investigate, develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate new programs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement agreed BAFF executive administrative requirements, including planning, documenting, coordination, and reporting of activities to support the BAFF Trust, Manager, and Advisory Committee.
* Establish and maintain strong administrative, secretariat, and governance processes to ensure compliance with the BAFF Trust and Shareholders Deeds and other governance documents.
* Monitor and report on BAFF activities and processes to ensure accurate and timely documentation to enable effective record keeping and process development/improvement.
* Maintain good working relationships with relevant BAFF stakeholders, including the Advisory Committee, ensuring respectful and culturally sensitive engagement and protocol adherence.
* Work collaboratively with Santos Foundation on programs/investments they manage on behalf of the BAFF.
* Contribute to BAFF strategic work, including assisting with the completion and coordination, and approval process for new programs, tracking evaluation and reporting of program progress, assisting with the development and refinement of monitoring and evaluation systems, tools, and templates, and assisting with grant proposal development (if required).
Requirements:
* Significant experience in executive administration, secretariat, governance, and managing benefit trusts or funds.
* Experience in coordinating and managing committees, boards, and executive groups.
* Experience working with First Nation individuals and communities and establishing and maintaining strong relationships.
* Proficient level of writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
* Experience with financial analysis.
* Strong organisational and record keeping skills.
* Self-driven with the ability to work independently.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Desirable experience in SAP and Project Management.
