Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to take on the role of General Manager, supporting the growth and sustainability of Aboriginal businesses across Western Australia.
* Provide strategic and operational leadership of the Hub, ensuring alignment with community needs and business objectives.
* Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality support services to Aboriginal businesses.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with Aboriginal communities, business owners, government stakeholders, and industry partners.
* Oversee day-to-day operations, including budgeting, reporting, compliance, and service delivery.
* Ensure culturally safe, inclusive, and empowering practices are embedded in all aspects of the Hub's operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications or professional qualifications in a discipline related to Business, Legal, or relevant field.
* Minimum 10 years' experience in senior leadership position.
* Identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.
* Proven experience in business management, economic development, or enterprise support.
* Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
* Strong community engagement and stakeholder relationship-building capabilities.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
* A commitment to Aboriginal self-determination and economic empowerment.
