An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced sales professional to join a premium leather and textiles supplier with a strong national and international presence. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a client-facing position, has a passion for beautiful, high-quality materials, and brings a proven track record in business development or account management within textiles, interiors, or consumer goods.
As the Key Account Manager you'll focus on building strong client relationships, driving new business, and growing revenue across a diverse portfolio of customers – from architects and designers to manufacturers and commercial partners.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage a portfolio of design, manufacturing, and commercial clients across VIC and nationally
* Identify, target, and convert new business opportunities
* Build enduring relationships with architects, designers, and specifiers
* Deliver tailored client presentations and product recommendations
* Stay ahead of market trends, competitor activity, and emerging design directions
* Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows, and activations
* Maintain accurate records and pipeline reporting in CRM
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 3 years' experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development
* Background in textiles, interiors, manufacturing, or design highly regarded
* Strong understanding of commercial project cycles and client needs
* Consultative sales approach with excellent communication and presentation skills
* Highly organised, self-driven, and motivated to deliver results
* Ability to build long-term relationships and manage multiple accounts with ease
