This highly strategic role is accountable for driving revenue, leading a sales function, managing major asset acquisition, and optimising inventory performance across a diverse portfolio. Reporting directly to executive leadership, this position blends operational excellence with market growth strategy, leadership, and customer-centricity.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end management of a sales division and oversee all equipment purchasing functions.
* Design and execute commercial strategies to achieve revenue, profit, and stock performance targets.
* Oversee forecasting, pricing, and inventory management of capital equipment assets across multiple sites.
* Maintain strong market intelligence to inform sales strategy, acquisition decisions, and competitive positioning.
* Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement across sales and operational teams.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role; industry experience within capital equipment, automotive, or industrial sectors advantageous but not essential.
* Commercial acumen in managing large-scale inventory, pricing models, and margin optimisation.
* Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of developing high-performing, cross-functional teams.
* Strategic thinking paired with operational discipline – comfortable making decisions at pace.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and communication skills at all levels.
