About the role:
Reporting to the Gladstone Depot Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day office administration and operational support of the Biloela Depot, with a strong focus on lubricant management and customer service. You will also support depot operations through effective stock management, proactive administration, and adherence to operational and safety requirements, ensuring the depot runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
Handling incoming phone calls, including customer enquiries and order taking
General office and administrative duties
Counter sales of Lubricants
Stock Management
Yard maintenance duties
The successful applicant will have:
A strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
The ability to manage multiple priorities
The ability to show initiative, work autonomously, and identify opportunities to improve processes and day-to-day operations
Excellent phone manner and communication skills
Competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word & Excel
Forklift licence (preferred)
Lubricant industry experience (preferred)
Local area knowledge (advantage)
