Maison Bâtard is a modern French dining venue located at 23 Bourke Street, featuring a four‐level experience with a showpiece restaurant, a late‐night supper club, and a rooftop terrace.

Lucas Collective, founded by Chris Lucas, owns and operates a portfolio of renowned restaurants and bars, including Chin Chin, Society, and Grill Americano.

We are looking for the industry's best Sommeliers to deliver a best‐in‐class wine experience on a casual basis. The role is hands‐on with a focus on service delivery.

• Sommelier experience
• Extensive knowledge of wine, new and old world
• Previous experience in delivering wine training is advantageous
• Experience with stock control and inventory management
• Must be up to date with industry trends
• Exceptional service skills and guest focus
• Highly adaptable and able to perform in high‐pressure service periods
• Proven ability in building effective relationships
• Organisational and time management skills
• Exceptional communication and presentation
• Availability to work a rotating roster including opening and closing shifts, weekends and public holidays
• WSET or CMS certification advantageous
• A valid RSA certificate
