Job Title: Personal Carer - Casual
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Personal Carer at Oakfield Lodge in Mount Barker.
About the Role:
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
* Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Prepare meals and snacks, and assist with feeding and hydration.
* Provide companionship and social interaction, engaging residents in various activities and conversations.
* Maintain accurate records of resident care, including medical information and personal details.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or Aged Care.
* Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an aged care setting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents and staff.
* A willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
