We focus on a casual fine dining experience highlighting local and native Australian ingredients.Saddles is a quintessential Australian dining destination.The Role:We are looking for a skilled and motivated Chef to join our kitchen team, looking for a Commis to Chef De Partie skill level, (pay according)Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Menu planning in collaboration with the Head Chef.Prepare and cook dishes according to the menuEnsure consistent food quality and presentation.Manage stock levels.Supervise and train junior kitchen staff.Contribute to the development of a positive and collaborative kitchen culture.Adherence and awareness of Australian food & safety health standards & codes of practice.Maintain a clean and organized kitchen.About the applicant:A genuine passion for cooking and creativity.Trade qualifications (i.e. Cert III or IV in Commercial Cookery).At least 2 years experience as a Chef.Thorough understanding of food safety standards.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to lead a team, encouraging and ensuring all team members are performing and working in a positive environment.You must have your own transportation as there is no public transportation in this area.
