Regional Software Developer
As part of the IT solutions development team, design and develop systems for business users in Europe and Africa. The role will require working with and supporting users across all functions.
Key Responsibilities And Measurement
* Develop regional and local software using approved tools and methodologies.
* Build components meeting requirements laid out by team members that can be integrated into larger projects.
* Create prototypes to define or elicit requirements using approved development tools and methodologies.
* Perform code reviews of projects to ensure maintainability and quality.
* Provide day-to-day support as required for systems delivered to the business by the team.
* Technical support may be required to be given to other teams on a prioritized basis.
* Business analysis support may be required to be given to other teams on a prioritized basis.
Requirements
* Minimum graduate or equivalent experience in application design, development, and implementation.
* Experience with RPA solutions is required; UiPath is preferable.
* Required programming languages:
o VB.Net (Within the context of Ui Path activities)
o HTML/CSS
o ECMA Script; Javascript, Google Apps Script
o Python
* Desirable programming languages:
o Bash-script
o C#
o Java
o PHP
o VB.Net
* Must be proficient with relational databases & SQL
* Experience working with, and setting up development environments
* Must demonstrate an understanding of version control systems such as Git.
* Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Business Analysis experience is desirable.
* Experience within shipping is desirable.
* Fluent English; speaking and writing.
