About the role
We have an amazing opportunity for a trade qualified Fixed-Plant Electrician to provide support to the mill processing plant, specifically responsible for carrying out preventative and breakdown electrical works across the surface area of the Mine.
Candidates who possess knowledge of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), with experience in automation systems and plant electrical operations will be highly regarded.
Roster: 7/7, 12 hours per day (Dayshift only)
Location: Peak Mine, Cobar NSW

Qualifications and experience
* Current NSW Electrical Licence
* Current First Aid/CPR and Low Voltage Rescue certifications
* Practical experience working within a Mine Processing Plant or similar heavy industrial environment
* Experience in a similar role with responsibility for maintaining and supporting a processing plant's electrical systems
* Current Working at Heights certification
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* Proactive approach with strong problem-solving ability
* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
Desirable
* High Voltage Switching ticket
* Confined Space ticket
* Exposure to CMMS software (PRONTO preferred)
* PLC experience (highly regarded)
* Friction Winder maintenance and driver experience
