The Role
Full-time based at our Epping Head Office - 76 hours per fortnight - 2 days WFH / 3 days in Epping.
We are looking for a talented Recruitment Consultant who will join our friendly, hardworking team and play a vital role in shaping our workforce by delivering high-quality, end-to-end recruitment services that support the strategic and operational needs of the organisation.
This role ensures an outstanding candidate and hiring manager experience while maintaining compliance with policies, legislation, and best practices as well as having fun and working together towards a common goal - bringing in the best people to look after our residents and our clients.
As a trusted partner to the business, you will proactively source talent, advise hiring managers, and manage the recruitment process from planning through to onboarding.
You help build a workforce that reflects our HEART values and our commitment to quality care, service, and culture.
What does the day to day look like?
Talent Partnering & Stakeholder Support
Manage a portfolio of roles across Residential, Home Care, and/or Corporate Services
Partner with hiring managers to define needs, plan recruitment, and provide market advice
Support leaders with interview processes, candidate evaluation, and hiring decisions
Deliver proactive solutions for hard-to-fill or critical roles
Candidate Experience
Deliver a high-touch, respectful experience for all candidates
Represent SCC's brand and values in all candidate interactions
Conduct interviews, reference checks, and pre-employment processes
Make offers and issue compliant employment contracts
Sourcing & Talent Pipelining
Use job boards, networks, social media, and events to proactively build candidate pipelines
Develop talent pools for recurring roles and support strategic workforce planning
Engage with recruitment agencies and external partners where needed
Systems, Reporting & Compliance
Maintain accurate and timely data in the ATS and other HR systems
Prepare recruitment metrics and reports as required
Ensure compliance with all employment, EEO, privacy, and organisational policies
Follow documentation and record-keeping standards
Teamwork & Continuous Improvement
Share knowledge and contribute to team improvement initiatives
Back up other team members during leave or peak periods
Champion process improvements and candidate experience innovations
Requirements
We are looking for a positive team player who can ride the ups and downs of recruitment and commit to delivering the best talent in the market to our wonderful stakeholders
Capabilities
End-to-end recruitment and talent sourcing experience
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage high-volume recruitment with accuracy and pace
Excellent verbal and written communication
Commercial thinking and ability to advise managers on recruitment strategy
Attention to detail and confidence using recruitment software and ATS systems
Proactive, collaborative, and values-aligned mindset
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 3 years' experience in internal or agency recruitment
Must have experience working in aged care
Success managing recruitment portfolios end-to-end
Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruitment tech
Qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
Experience in aged care, health, or not-for-profit sectors - Highly Desirable
