About The Role
We're seeking a
Principal Civil Engineer
(Roads & Highways) with proven experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and delivering major infrastructure projects across the transport industry. You'll be based in our
Cairns office
, helping to expand our capability across Queensland while enjoying the benefits of a relaxed, tropical lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
* Lead civil and transport infrastructure design projects with a focus on roads and highways
* Drive business development across FNQ and QLD through relationship building and repeat work
* Deliver technical excellence while ensuring projects are on time and within budget
* Mentor and grow a talented, local engineering team
* Contribute to strategic planning and capability expansion in the region
About You
* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or similar
* 15+ years' experience in roads & highways design and project delivery
* Solid understanding of the Queensland market and relevant design standards
* Strong project management and client engagement skills
* A commitment to technical excellence and continuous improvement
* Able to travel occasionally (domestic/international) as needed
* Chartered status (or working towards) will be highly regarded
