What You'll Do As a Lifestyle Therapist, you'll design and deliver meaningful activities that promote the psychological, spiritual, social, and physical wellbeing of our residents, guided by the Positive Wellbeing Model of Care. Key Responsibilities Assess individual needs and create person-centred care plans and activities; Design and lead engaging one-on-one, small, and large group programs; Support residents in participating and building connections; assist with personal care as needed; Evaluate and improve lifestyle programs to enhance resident wellbeing; Maintain accurate records and document resident-focused activity outcomes. About You As a Lifestyle Therapist, you bring compassion and creativity to designing personalised activities. You are reflective and organised, continuously improving programs, fostering meaningful connections, and keeping accurate records to ensure the highest quality of care. Other Requirements: Certificate IV in Leisure & Health or a Certificate Level III or IV in any area of dementia, neurological disorder, intellectual impairment, music, arts, massage or other qualification related to diversional therapy. Light Rigid Bus Licence (Class LR) or ability to acquire is desirable. Knowledge and application of person-centred preference-driven philosophies. A current National Police Check - or willingness to obtain.
