The Fresh Collective is renowned for delivering premium hospitality experiences across Australia's most iconic venues. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Event Manager to join our team at the Art Gallery of NSW.
Reporting to the Head of Events & Catering, you will play a key role in the coordination and delivery of diverse events from stylish private dinners and creative offsite catering to large‐scale corporate events and memorable weddings. About the Role
* Full‐Time Permanent position based at one of Sydney's premier cultural institutions.
* Manage all aspects of event planning, including quoting, coordination, and execution for a dedicated client base.
* Build and retain excellent relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal operations teams.
* Prepare detailed event sheets, proposals, and accurate handover documentation for the operations team.
* Conduct post‐event follow‐ups within 2 days to gather feedback and secure future opportunities.
* Contribute to budgeted revenue and profit targets through upselling and commercial awareness.
* Maintain accurate records and task management within the Momentus database.
About You
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within catering, hospitality groups, or venues.
* Tertiary education preferred.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills for both clients and internal departments.
* Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines and manage event "loose ends".
* Proficiency in event software, specifically Momentus, is highly regarded.
