About the Project

Clough, as part of a Joint Venture with Saipem, is delivering Project 'CERES' urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.

Role

We are seeking an Injury Management Advisor to join the Perdaman team, on a 19:9 rotation to site. You will be responsible for providing sound health and injury management advice to Managers, and to coordinate the rehabilitation of employees who sustain work‐related and non‐work‐related injuries or illnesses, to meet compliance with legislative, governance requirements and organisational safety objectives.

Responsibilities
* Coordinate workplace injury management requirements for injured employees in line with Workers' Compensation legislative requirements and Webuild policies and procedures.
* Notify the insurer within legislated timeframes after becoming aware that a worker has suffered a workplace injury or illness.
* Lodge the workers' compensation claim with the relevant insurer.
* Provide workplace rehabilitation assistance in a proactive manner for the timely and safe return to work of injured employees through initiating early contact with the injured worker and their Supervisor and/or Manager following a workplace injury, inclusive of timely development, monitoring and upgrading of return to work plans.
* Liaise with the Insurer Case Manager, Corporate WC & IM, Health and Safety Advisors, Supervisor, Manager, Treating Medical Officer, Allied Health Provider, Payroll and other relevant Stakeholders regularly regarding the progress of injured workers.
* Participate in Insurer claims review meetings.
* Maintain accurate and confidential records within SOLV.
* Assist with managing non-work-related medical conditions / injuries.
* Develop personal health condition management plans to assist with managing long term medical conditions of affected employees.
* Develop and deliver workers' compensation, injury management and return to work training packages to the workforce.
* Develop, deliver and coordinate health and wellness initiatives to raise awareness regarding various health and wellbeing topics.
* Provide frontline leaders, health and safety representatives and workers (including our contractors) with coaching and expert health and safety advice to develop wellbeing capability throughout the business.
Key Requirements
* Experience working as an Injury Management Advisor or similar for 2+ years.
* Experience on construction/EPC projects highly regarded.
* Tertiary qualification in Health, Safety or Occupational Health (highly desirable)
* Experience working in environmental management on large and complex infrastructure or resource projects.
* Oil & Gas/fertiliser exposure highly regarded.
* High level of skill in workplace rehabilitation processes including notification of claims to the insurer; initiating early proactive workplace rehabilitation intervention strategies; and developing monitoring and upgrading return to work plans to assist injured workers to return to work in a timely manner.
* Extensive knowledge of workplace rehabilitation legislative requirements, safety legislation and management systems.
