The Manager of Workplace Relations & Business Partnerships is responsible for leading and managing a client-focused business partner model, across all areas of the business. Further, the position oversees the employee relations and industrial relations activities, ensuring this work is contemporary, compliant and represents best practice. The role requires generalist Human Resources expertise with a focus on employee relations, industrial relations and change management.
- Demonstrated experience managing the delivery of People and Culture strategy and advisory services
- Significant experience as a senior People and Culture generalist with strong knowledge of P&C best practice
- Experience in the Health or Public sector or equivalent complex environment
- Understanding of the Fair Work Act and relevant employment law and Public Health Enterprise Agreement
- Tertiary qualification(s) in Human Resource Management or related field
- Management and coaching/mentoring experience
- Demonstrated ability to write reports, briefings, correspondence, policies and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage people in a diverse and challenging environment
- Demonstrated ability to successfully negotiate and implement employee enterprise agreements
