The Role

As a Policy Officer you will support the development, delivery and review of legislation and policy across Consumer Protection's areas of responsibility.

* Provide practical advice on consumer protection policy issues.
* Gather, analyse and interpret evidence to inform policy development.
* Engage and consult with different people and organisations to ensure policy work is well‐informed, balanced and responsive to stakeholder needs.
* Coordinate, deliver and evaluate operational and statutory reform consumer protection projects in line with business plans.
* Keep up to date with current and emerging consumer protection trends and issues; and contribute to other initiatives and tasks as required.
