Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Night Shift Front Office Professional to join our team. This individual will be responsible for supporting the Front Office team with general operational tasks, including Front Desk, Guest Experience and Concierge/Porter services.
Key responsibilities include:
* Operating the telephone switchboard and responding to all guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
* Verifying and adjusting billing for guests to ensure accuracy and fairness.
* Checking guests in and out using OPERA systems, ensuring seamless transitions and exceptional service.
* Conducting security checks across property to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
* Assisting with driving and parking cars when necessary, providing a high level of customer satisfaction.
* Delivering bags and luggage for guest movements during the overnight period, demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
* Building and strengthening relationships with existing and new guests, collaborating closely with other departments to deliver outstanding results.
* Completing reservation administration tasks and offering general support to the team, contributing to the success of the Front Office operation.
About You
To be successful as a Night Shift Front Office Professional, you will need:
* Experience with OPERA property management system or similar, with a strong understanding of its features and functionality.
* Relevant experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering excellent service and results.
* A driver's license and working rights in Australia, enabling you to drive and park cars safely and efficiently.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with guests and colleagues.
* Attention to detail in all aspects of work, with a focus on delivering accurate and reliable results.
