This is an exciting time to join NRW Civil and Mining as we are now seeking an experienced Mining Superintendent for newly awarded work in Darwin. This role will be offered on a DIDO basis from Darwin on a 2:2 roster.
To be considered for this position you must possess the following as a minimum:
* Previous experience as a Mining Superintendent
* Extensive practical knowledge and experience in mining operations
* Proven ability to lead, develop and mentor a workforce
* Strong time management and organisational skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Current Australian Driver's Licence
* Statutory Quarry Manager's Certificate
* Site Senior Executive Certificate (desirable)
* Previous experience in a site-based role (FIFO/DIDO highly regarded)
* Ideally Darwin Based
As a Mining Superintendent you will be responsible for but not limited to:
* Implementing the mining plan and monitoring progress in respect of time, cost, and quality
* Managing and supporting Mining Supervisors to ensure activities are adequately resourced
* Promoting a safe, healthy work environment and strong safety culture
* Reviewing client and subcontractor plans and schedules to ensure targets are achieved
* Maintaining strong relationships with client representatives regarding technical and operational matters
* Identifying and managing variations, scope changes, and additional work requirements
* Driving productivity outcomes while maintaining compliance and safety standards
