About the Role
We're looking for a proactive and experienced Fleet Coordinator to join our team at the Beresfield Depot. In this key role, you'll oversee the day-to-day management of our fleet and depot, ensuring vehicles and equipment are safe, reliable, and ready to support operations. Your leadership will help drive operational safety, efficiency, and commercial success, while also supporting the wellbeing of our drivers and the smooth running of our projects.
What You'll Be Doing
* Working as part of the Fleet Management team, overseeing the daily maintenance, servicing, and repair of vehicles and equipment.
* Coordinating inspections, audits, and compliance checks to uphold safety standards.
* Acting as the link between drivers, suppliers, and the operations team to keep everything running smoothly.
* Working with external suppliers for vehicle and equipment repairs, hires and servicing
* Supporting driver inductions, training, and vehicle checks to promote safe work practices.
* Overseeing and managing depot presentation, stocktakes, and organisation to ensure a clean and efficient workspace.
* Onboarding new vehicles and equipment into the fleet and projects.
* Participating in an on-call roster to provide after-hours support for urgent fleet issues.

You'll be someone who can balance technical know-how with excellent communication skills to lead, support, and get the best out of people.
Skills & Experience We're Looking For
* Proven experience in fleet maintenance or vehicle management.
* Experience in the traffic management industry (desirable).
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle priorities.
* Confident communicator who can build strong relationships with traffic controllers, drivers, suppliers, and colleagues.
* Familiarity with fleet management software and systems.
* Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
* Mechanical or electrical trade qualifications will be highly regarded.
