t Datamars we believe in doing excellent work with passion. Based in Banyo, Brisbane, we are seeking a Dispatcher. Our Banyo operation specialises in the manufacturing of printed livestock tags and dispatch of livestock farm management products for the rural sector resellers. Our team is highly dedicated, supportive, quality and delivery focused.
About the role
This is a permanent full time role. We have approximately 45 staff at our Brisbane operations and a team of 3-5 in the dispatching area dealing with mostly finished product. Your day-to-day tasks will involve accurate order processing, ensuring stock is labelled and dispatched in a timely and efficient manner plus also working alongside our printing and finished goods teams to ultimately ensure customer needs are met on time and in full.
* Ensure accurate and timely inventory management
* Dispatch high quality product and provide exceptional customer service, supporting & delivering product to a national customer base
* Match and tray tag orders from production ready to produce in dispatch
* Picking, packing, shipping and invoicing orders
* Strong Health & Safety focus – ability to learn, support and adhere to company Health & Safety policies and procedures
* Perform accurate cycle counts & maintain high levels of inventory integrity – we have over 1500 different products & over 1000 pallet locations
* Be an active and proactive team player - share your ideas working with a dedicated team striving for continuous improvement and efficiencies
* Learn and follow quality standards for the inspection process of finished products
* Provide exceptional service delivery working with Sales, Customer Services, Finance, & internal teams
To be successful in this role:
You be physically fit, have dispatching experience in businesses with a large variety of product lines. You will have at least 12-18 months in a similar role in a fast-paced warehouse/dispatch environment. Working in a team you will be recognised as someone who brings a positive and proactive approach to their work. To be a success in this role you will be organised, have the ability to prioritise tasks and work within tight deadlines. You will have a strong attention to detail and good numeric skills. Experience with dispatch systems (SAP) would be advantageous.
You will have demonstrated ability to:
* Accurately pick and pack
* Pack and repack pallets, load pallet trolleys
* Problem solve,with the ability to deal with challenges, pressure & deadlines
* Perform cycle counts
* communicate clearly and write clearly/legibility
