Accoras, is a leading private practice in Upper Mount Gravatt servicing Brisbane South. Accoras has been delivering mental health and wellbeing services for South-East Queensland children, young people and families for 30 years. The Accoras Psychology Service offers an experience unlike any other in private practice. Our team of dedicated professionals is known for its compassionate approach and commitment to ongoing professional development. Our psychologists work with individuals, couples and families and we specialise in matching clients with psychologist expertise and preferences.
Our Service supports a wide range of clients experiencing difficulties like depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, behavioural problems, grief and loss, work-related issues and relationship problems.
About the role
As a Clinical Psychologist or General Psychologist with Accoras Psychology Service, you will have the opportunity to:
1. Conduct individual therapy sessions with clients across the lifespan
2. Provide couples and family counselling (preferred but not essential)
3. Perform assessments, including diagnostic assessment for ADHD and ASD, with both children and adults (where qualified)
4. Work within a passionate team of like-minded and supportive professionals
5. Benefit from a skilled administrative team who handle scheduling, billing and client enquiries
6. Engage in continuous professional development and training opportunities.
7. If you are looking to enter private practice, we provide a supportive and flexible environment to do this.
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years experience who has:
8. A current general registration with AHPRA (or are about to obtain this)
9. A valid Working with Children check
10. An ABN, Medicare provider number and professional indemnity insurance, or can obtain these prior to commencement
11. Strong clinical skills and experience in evidence-based therapeutic approaches
12. Provides a client-centred approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
