 
        
        A growing pharmaceutical manufacturing company has vacancy for an Assistant Quality Control Manager (Assistant Lab Manager). This is a role for an experienced Chemist with extensive hands-on QC experience, especially in method development, method validation, testing pharmaceutical raw materials, in-process sample, stability samples, and finished products.
Candidates must have 6-8 years of QC experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Primary Objectives
- Perform skilled quality control analyst assignments, including method-development, method-validation, finished product testing, raw material testing, in-process testing, etc.
- Creating and updating QC Documents, including specifications and test methods.
- Training junior analysts and helping resolve problems
- A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry is required.
Job Description
- Perform laboratory analysis of raw materials, in process sample, stability sample and finished products using HPLC/UHPLC, GC, AA, TLC, FTIR, UV-Vis and other analytical instruments.
- Troubleshooting skills level experience with HPLC/UHPLC and GC analytical techniques is required.
- Prepare and label laboratory reagents, reference standards and solutions according to SOPs.
- Record the results on the analytical report.
- Investigate and report out-of-specification and out-of-trend results.
- Writing analytical specifications using current pharmacopoeias and reviewing existing analytical specifications.
- Order laboratory standards, chemicals and solvents.
- Calibrate analytical instrument, as and when required.
- Comply with GMP and GLP.
- Follow safety procedures when working in laboratory.
- Maintain the laboratory in an organized and neat manner
- Carry our analytical method validation
- Developing analytical test methods for testing finished products
