* Gallagher Specialist Electronic Security Technician: Service
What You'll Be Doing (aka the important stuff)
Service based roles will predominately focus on fault call outs and maintenance / preventative maintenance service duties. Every now and then, you may assist the projects team when a major install is time critical, but service will always be your main focus.
Project & Install Technicians will predominately focus on projects ranging from small to large-scale commercial installs or upgrade jobs. These will be across existing structures and new build construction sites, so no two days (or sites) look the same.
And just so we're clear, we know you're interviewing us as much as we're interviewing you.

You'll be joining our established service or projects teams and working across commercial client sites with a range of integrated security technologies. We are one of only a handful of Gallagher partners, and if you know Gallagher, you know their high standards and what it takes to become a partner / supplier. Salto is very much in demand, especially within the Education Sector and we have had a proud partnership with them for more than a decade.
We are constantly reviewing the latest tech to make sure we stay one step ahead and to make your job easier, not harder.
We provide back end support too and you'll also have access to our inhouse and on the road technical (IT-based) technicians, engineering specialists, technical project coordinators and project managers because being supported properly matters.
What You'll Bring to the Table
To be considered for these roles, you'll ideally have:
* Service Technician:
* Sound fault finding capabilities in electronic and IP-based security systems
* Demonstrated experience working with IP-based Security, Access Control, CCTV and Intercom systems
* Experience with Salto or Gallagher products will be highly regarded but not mandatory
* Install / Project Technician
* Demonstrated experience working with end to end installation of electronic security systems
* A genuine ability to live and breathe our core values: integrity, respect, teamwork, fun & friendly, strong & driven and pride
* Great customer service skills (because service really is everything to us)
* Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
* The ability to work brilliantly within a team and collaborate and share knowledge but also work confidently on your own
* A valid Driver's Licence, Security Licence, Federal Police Check & Working with Children Check, White Card, EWP (Yellow Card)….or the ability to obtain them
* A proactive, flexible approach and a "let's get it done" attitude
