Our client A renowned German automotive aftermarket brand with 70 years of history and a strong international footprint is further expanding its presence in ANZ. We are seeking a Sales Manager ANZ (m/f/d) to become the first dedicated representative on the ground. In this role, you will take ownership of the Australian market, build on existing customer relationships, and actively drive business development across the region. This is a rare opportunity for a hands-on sales professional who enjoys autonomy, direct customer engagement, and shaping a market from within. You will represent a premium aftermarket portfolio, work closely with international teams, and play a key role in strengthening the brand’s position in ANZ. Your duties and responsibilities will include: Take full ownership of all sales and business development activities across Australia and New Zealand Manage and expand existing customer relationships with distributors and key partners, while identifying and acquiring new business opportunities Negotiate commercial agreements and pricing structures in alignment with the company’s global strategy Conduct frequent customer visits, strengthen partnerships, and represent the brand directly in the market Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and customer needs to design and execute effective growth strategies Maintain accurate CRM data, prepare sales reports and forecasts, and ensure transparent communication with international headquarters Coordinate marketing, promotional, and training initiatives in collaboration with regional and global teams Represent the company at trade fairs, workshops, and customer events to enhance brand visibility and trust Establish a regional subsidiary, including building a small local team and operational structure To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and experiences: Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or business development within the automotive aftermarket or a related technical industry Proven track record of achieving sales growth and developing long-term customer relationships Excellent understanding of the Australian and New Zealand automotive aftermarket, ideally with an existing network Entrepreneurial, proactive mindset with strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills Your Path to Growth and Leadership Start as the first on the ground, develop the market, build & lead the future subsidiary for a premium German automotive aftermarket brand in Australia and New Zealand Extensive onboarding program with international training visits in German HQ and Asia Hub A clear career path toward General Management, including the opportunity to build and lead a future regional subsidiary
