The Role

A fabulous role supporting two great people, the CEO and Executive Manager Office of Council & CEO. You will manage their time, liaise extensively across the organisation and provide proactive, hands‐on support as you pre‐empt and plan ahead. Managing heavy diaries and meeting schedules, triage and monitor emails, coordinate off‐site events and assist in preparing professional presentations. There is plenty of scope to get involved and add real value across the organisation.

About you

This exciting role is for someone who wants to support the CEO and an Executive Manager, while helping to maintain a positive, energetic and inclusive culture. To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to have:

* Extensive experience in an executive support role within a large or complex organisation
* Substantial understanding of local government or public sector and the context in which they operate
* Demonstrated skills and experience in managing complex workloads
* Demonstrated astuteness in understanding sensitive or critical nature correspondence, and undertake appropriate action
* Initiative, enthusiasm, flexibility, discretion and a strong work ethic is vital
