Overview
You can search for people on SEEK and make profiles public to be found by more employers. This role focuses on attention, narrative, and influence—growing a founder‑led personal brand in public without diluting it. You will operate at the intersection of strategy, culture, social media, and brand psychology and act as the strategic brain behind the online presence, shaping what is said, where you show up, and how the brand compounds over time. You will work closely with the founder and the videographer. The role is about thinking, guiding, and directing—not editing or scheduling posts.
What you will own
* Brand & Narrative Strategy
o Define weekly and monthly content themes
o Shape tone, positioning, and messaging
o Decide what aligns with the brand — and what doesn’t
o Protect the brand from dilution or reactive posting
o Identify influencer, brand, and movement collaborations
o Proactively reach out and manage opportunities
o Advise where attention creates the most leverage
o Filter opportunities before they reach the founder
* Content Direction (not execution)
o Guide content angles, hooks, and series ideas
o Brief the videographer with clear strategic intent
o Decide what content gets posted and why
* Engagement & Presence
o Advise on comment strategy and audience interaction
o Identify emerging conversations worth engaging in
o Ensure the brand feels intentional, confident, and authoritative
This role is for you if:
* You think in strategy, not schedules
* You understand polarising content and when to lean in or pull back
* You have strong cultural awareness of social media and online discourse
* You're comfortable working with a strong, opinionated founder
* You can challenge ideas respectfully and back your thinking
* You care deeply about brand integrity and long‑term growth
This role is NOT for you if:
* You're a junior social media manager
* You just want to schedule posts and write captions
* You avoid controversy at all costs
* You need constant direction or approval
* You're uncomfortable with high‑profile personal brands
Ideal background (one or more):
* Personal brand strategist
* Digital / PR strategist for founders or creators
* Senior social or brand role within a creator‑led business
* Proven experience growing founder‑led or personality‑driven brands
* Or a strong independent operator with a track record to show
* Minimum of 5+ years\' experience required in personal brand strategy or similar roles
* Formal qualifications matter less than judgment, taste, and results
Location & Structure
* Australia preferred (remote considered)
